Walk Along the Southampton Test

While I was expecting James to get back to head off for the Isle of Wight, I went off to Totton for a walk along the Test Way which is a rather a lovely boarded walk over the semi wetlands.

Having recently recieved the latest Practical Photography I was equipted with only my 105mm Macro lens to limit my ability while shooting landscapes. Right, so these are only flower macros, more of the landscape shots are posted on my website.

Pink flowers do look great, and this is no exception. The crispness is great and I now have it as my desktop background.

This is some very rare green flowered plant, a relative of the orchid. It was pointed out by a passing bottanist, but I can't remember the name

Just at the end of my walk I passed these in someone's garden. First shot was the best, though a shame about the stem visible between the petals.
