Which Super Hero are You?

This is just as I suspected. I've allways prefered Spiderman with his webby powers which are much more realistic than those of Superman (pish!).

My results:
I am Spider-Man

I am intelligent, witty, a bit geeky and have great power and responsibility.
  • Spider-Man :: 85%

  • Robin :: 65%

  • Superman :: 65%

  • Hulk :: 60%

  • Supergirl :: 55%

  • Green Lantern :: 50%

  • Catwoman :: 45%

  • Batman :: 45%

  • Iron Man :: 45%

  • Wonder Woman :: 40%

  • The Flash :: 35%

Another shot into the mouth of the furnace. Sparks and flames make great camera fodder.

The bonfire lead naturally on to the blast furnace. I found some copper to put in it (that I'd saved for just such an occasion) but sadly no ore so smelting wan't on the cards. We did geneate a nice blue/green copper flame :)

What fun you can have with a bonfire and a high volume pump - remember kids, leave this for the professionals!

Mottisfont Abbey

Mottisfont abbey north of Romsey on the river Test is home to a stunning rose garden that flowers from June to July and is well worth a visit. I went there a couple of weekends back with a friend and we had a splendid time explooring the gardens, visiting the abbey, with its strangly painted marble and relaxing in the grounds. A splendid day out.

The rose garden was out in full bloom and looking spectacular. Colours and smells abound.

Some stunning irises were on display as well as the roses.

These little flowers looked all crinkled, like they hadn't been ironed for a long time.

They also had some wierd looking flowers too.

Flash Animations

Take a look at this awesome flash video, it's worth a couple of views as there is so much going on. How people have the vision to construct such intricate animations is quite beyond me.

Hillwalking Daywalk - Swanage

Last Saturday's walk took us alond Swanage beach where we broke for lunch. The wind was up and the waves were breaking majestically on the groins. It was an ideal photo oppertunity that I couldn't resist (20 times or so).

Another breaking wave shot - shooting pictures of the sea is so much fun :)

Parisien Beauty

Nudity can be very beautiful. I though this statue near the Eiffle Tower in Paris pretty much had beauty sorted. That's not wierd is it?

Swanage Railway Walk

An odd, not very good shot but is quite fun none the less.

She sells sea shells on the sea shore - much easier to type than say. I really like the glitering sun in this shot. The square format isn't great but it cuts excess dead space from the original image.

The Red Light district of Paris - what a sight. What a feast of sights in fact. Our hotel was only a few minutes walk from the Moulin Rouge and allowed some good photographing oppertunities. Nothing dodgy you understand.
